NOW HIRING: Finance and Project Administrator

Company: Deep Tech Canada 
Location: Canada-wide  
Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension 
Hours: part-time, up to 20 hours per week 
Salary: hourly salary will be based on experience of applicant 
Reports to: Project Director 

Deep Tech Canada (DTC) is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance and Project Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our financial processes and assisting with project management duties. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the smooth execution of projects while maintaining accuracy in financial administration. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports. 
• Process invoices and claims. 
• Assist with staff travel bookings and expense claims.  
• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders for project-related communications. 
• Provide administrative support for financial tasks, including data entry and document management 

Education:  

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 

Experience: 

• Previous experience providing finance and administrative support is required.  
• Previous project management experience is an asset 
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is an asset. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications is preferred. 

Knowledge and skills: 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.   
• French language skills are considered an asset.
