Dr. Gobinda Saha, Director of the Nanocomposites and Mechanics Laboratory (NCM Lab) and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick, leads a team focused on advanced materials & coatings, additive manufacturing, biocomposites, and functionalized materials. The lab focuses on practical solutions and prepares researchers with the skills needed to lead innovation in academia and industry.
An internationally recognized expert, his achievements include being a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), Chair of the ASME Composites and Heterogeneous Materials Technical Committee, and Board member of the Canadian Association for Composite Structures and Materials (CACSMA).
