Deep Tech Canada is organizing a life sciences co-innovation and trade mission to Japan from October 6–10, 2025. This mission is designed to support Canadian organizations in the life sciences and health technologies sectors looking to explore the Japanese market, build new partnerships, and increase international visibility.
Participants will engage in curated business development activities and represent Canada at BioJapan, one of Asia’s premier biotechnology partnering events.
NRC IRAP clients may be eligible for travel funding support. (Funding is not guaranteed and is subject to approval by your IRAP Industrial Technology Advisor.)
NRC IRAP clients approved for travel support may also be eligible for a partial refund of their registration fees upon completion of the mission.

BioJapan is the world’s oldest biotechnology exhibition and one of Asia’s largest life sciences and healthcare partnering events. It brings together leaders in biopharma, regenerative medicine, healthy aging and digital health from around the globe.
The Canadian Pavilion will serve as a hub for B2B meetings and demonstrations, offering a strong platform for showcasing Canadian innovation in life sciences.
Attendees will have access to all mission sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, making it an ideal choice for those interested in learning, networking, and exploring potential business opportunities.
The Display Exhibitor registration category is designed for organizations looking to showcase their products or services during the mission. Exhibitors will have a prominent display space* to present their offerings, interact with potential clients, and network with other participants. This category is ideal for those seeking to actively engage in marketing and promotion.
The exhibitor will receive every item listed under the delegate registration, plus:

The participant is responsible for airfare, hotel expenses, local transportation, insurance, and all other expenses while on the mission. The entrance fee to the BioJapan trade show and exhibition is included.
