Singapore-Canada Deep Tech - Life Science Innovation Mission

Deep Tech Canada invites innovative Canadian companies and organizations to join our life science innovation mission to Singapore in partnership with Singapore Deep-Tech Alliance (SDTA). This mission serves as a unique opportunity for Canadian innovators to immerse themselves in Singapore’s thriving ecosystem, particularly in the fields of health tech.

This mission aims to foster collaboration, spark innovation, and build partnerships between Canadian innovators and Singapore's vibrant deep-tech community.

Deep Tech Canada is offering travel support to 10 organizations joining this mission.

This mission has limited spots available; applications will be accepted until March 14th, 2025.

Participation in SDTA’s Sustainable Innovation Asia 2025 event

Registration

Members: $1,000.00
Non-members: $1,500.00

Travel Reimbursement

To be eligible for travel reimbursement, participating companies must:

Attend all events associated with the mission.
Submit a travel claim following the mission.
Complete a post-mission survey.
Provide specific metrics to evaluate the impact of the mission.

Eligible Expenses:

Return economy airfare up to $2,500.00 (add-on destinations pre or post mission will not be reimbursed)
Per diems (including accommodation in a standard room) of $500.00 per day per organization for a maximum of 8 days
Local travel

Eligible expenses will be reimbursed to a maximum of $7,000.00 per organization.

Ineligible Expenses:

Travel insurance cost
Mission registration fee
Communication charges
(ex. Data roaming)
Federal and provincial taxes
(HST and GST)

Important Notes:

Federal government employees are not eligible for reimbursement.
Deep Tech Canada will not reimburse participants in advance of the mission.
Foreign currency invoices must be converted to CAD at the prevailing exchange rate at the time.

Deep Tech Canada invite les entreprises canadiennes innovatrices à Singapour dans le cadre de sa mission commerciale portant sur l'innovation en sciences de la vie, en partenariat avec la Singapore Deep-Tech Alliance (SDTA). Cette mission est une occasion unique pour les innovateurs canadiens de s'immerger dans l'écosystème florissant de Singapour, en particulier dans le domaine des technologies de la santé.

Cette mission vise à favoriser la collaboration, à stimuler l'innovation et à établir des partenariats entre les innovateurs canadiens et la vibrante communauté deep tech de Singapour.

Deep Tech Canada offrira un soutien financier pour les frais de déplacement des 10 organisations qui participeront à cette mission.
