In partnership with
Deep Tech Canada, in partnership with the Government of Alberta, Calgary Economic Development, and Edmonton Global, and with support from the Trade Commissioner Service, is organizing a multi-city Deep Tech Roadshow to Korea and Japan.
This mission will bring together a delegation of Canadian companies developing advanced materials and advanced manufacturing technologies to explore new markets, build strategic partnerships and accelerate international growth across key Asian markets.
Delegates will engage directly with corporates, investors, research institutions, government stakeholders and potential customers and partners through curated business meetings, site visits, networking opportunities and market-focused programming.
Applications will be accepted until October 30, 2026, or until all available spots are filled.

WITH TRAVEL SUPPORT:
The registration fee for participants receiving travel support reflects the additional services and administration associated with the CanExport funding program.
WITHOUT TRAVEL SUPPORT:
Through our partnership with the Government of Alberta, Calgary Economic Development, and Edmonton Global, we are pleased to offer discounted registration to Alberta-based organizations.
Deep Tech Canada members receive 10% off registration.
Participants are responsible for booking their own airfare, accommodations, local transportation, insurance, and all other expenses while on the mission.
Through funding provided under the CanExport Associations program, Deep Tech Canada may provide travel support to a limited number of selected Canadian companies.
Eligible participants may receive reimbursement of up to 50% of eligible travel expenses, to a maximum of $4,600.00 per company, subject to CanExport program requirements and available funding.
Travel support is intended primarily for Canadian SMEs and startups that are export-ready and market-ready for international expansion. Applicants must meet the applicable program eligibility requirements to receive funding.

Several provincial programs offer financial support for export-related activities, including trade missions. Eligibility and application processes vary by province:
This trade mission is supported in part through funding provided by the Government of Canada under the CanExport Associations program. This funding supports Deep Tech Canada's international business development activities and helps reduce participation costs for eligible Canadian companies seeking to expand into international markets.
